This meetup group was created to give people an opportunity to hike and bike the beautiful trails in Halton and Hamilton Regions and possibly other areas. This is for people that enjoy different levels of hiking and biking for the purpose of enjoying the great outdoors.
Some trails are just for walking while others can be moderately challenging so be prepared for rocks, trees, narrow areas, hills, stairs and weather. All events will state the difficulty level; be it easy, intermediate or hard. Always have proper footwear and weather attire as this adds to yours and the groups enjoyment of the event.
Typically events will last 2-3 hrs depending on the nature of the event.
Depending on the event, pets are welcome and children discouraged due to the nature of some trails. Always read the event description to verify these details.
This meetup group is open to anyone, regardless of age, however a moderate level of fitness would help in your enjoyment.
By paying your membership fee, you agree that Halton to Hamilton Hiking and Beyond and any of it's organizers are not liable for any injuries sustained while on a hike. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate equipment for the weather and trail conditions and you are physically able to participate.
