I used to have this really long description where I ranted about adult friendships and the hardships of finding nice, normal people to hang out with.... but y'all already know that!
It's hard to make friends as an adult. I run an entire podcast and social club about it. People don't respond, people cancel plans, people flirt & get weird, the list could go on for MILES.
I'm assuming you're here for the same reason I am - to attend some fun events, attempt to make some friends, and find a ~purpose~ in this life. So let's get on with it. I host events at least a few times a month and I promise they're the best ones you'll find on Meetup (The bar is low).
By joining our group, you agree to the rules & terms. I know y'all don't read so to sum it all up: We're inclusive people. Have fun & let loose & drink but do so safely. Don't judge. Don't flirt or cross lines - this isn't Tinder!!!!!! Be freaking normal or I'll remove your A$$. Events are 21+. Read the event descriptions - most of your questions get asked in them like "What's the parking situation?". Have fun & TRY to make some friends!

Come join us for a spooky evening in historic Sugar Land! Nothing beats kicking off Halloween weekend like a Sugar Land ghost tour! Make new friends with our social club, learn some spooky history, and enjoy a complimentary drink!
Tickets are here for $15 (free for our premium members!) and includes:
-Walking tour through historic Sugar Land led by our ghost tour guide Ryan! Tour will include historic information/stories and plenty of ghost stories & spooks!
-Complimentary post-walk glass of wine, beer, or sodaDressing up encouraged! (Costumes, ghost themed/Halloween shirts, etc!) Please dress with walking in mind!

Event Schedule + How To Find Us:
7pm: Our tour will kick off at 7pm from Lonnie Green Park. You can park onsite at the park or do street parking in the neighborhood. We will start with brief introductrions & socializing before beginning our tour. Call/text Macey at 832-246-2061 with any questions or help locating our group.7:15-8pm: Our walking tour will begin at 7:15pm. Please arrive before 7:15pm or you will risk not being able to find our group! Walking tour will be about one mile round trip up to the Sugar Mill and a few other locations. We will end just down the street from Lonnie Green Park.
8-8:30pm: Socializing & complimentary drinks will be provided at our ending spot! Make friends, take some photos with our photo ops, & enjoy spooky music!
Parking + Additional Information:
Street parking available at the park. Event is rain or shine - please dress for the weather! In the event of a thunderstorm, we will reschedule. Some places we walk may be uneven, on rough road, etc - please dress accodingly & wear comfortable shoes! We recommend bug spray and a bottle of water.Refunds: We are a small + local social club and plan each event around an accurate final headcount. For that reason, we cannot provide refunds up to seven days prior to an event. We do NOT provide refunds for any reason. If the event is canceled or rescheduled on our end, we will give full refunds. Event is rain/shine.

We get it. It's weird to meet strangers off the internet - & our parents definitely told us not to! Our premium membership "verifies" all members so you can feel safer attending. We recommend grabbing a drink (alcoholic or non!) to have something to hold/sip for the inevitable awkward silences. Planning ahead, dressing in something that makes you feel confident, & thinking of some of your interests/potential conversations before arriving are some tips to ensure you have a fun night.
