What we’re about
This group has been setup for people 30 years old and over, who live in and around Hatfield predominantly but open to people from all areas to meetup and socialise.
If you fancy going for a walk (bring your dog if they're friendly), want to go for a coffee, grab a bite to eat, go to the cinema, play pool. Alternatively, if you're up for a game of tennis, dog walking, watching sports, or for day trips out, then this is the group for you.
I am hoping to meet people who live in Hatfield, Herts or neighbouring areas to make friends and connect.

Join me mid-week for some good old comedy hosted by the Dog House Comedy Club locally in Hatfield at the Red Lion Pub to dust off the midweek blues...11 acts up to 5mins each with a few breaks in between.
Entrance fee £2 per person, tickets are to be booked online using the below link
I think you can also pay on the night.
Starts at 8pm and ends 10:15pm. Free parking on site. Arrive early to avoid sitting at the front.
It would be great to meet some new people as well as catch up with a few of our group regulars too. We have new faces regularly attend this group so please refrain from thinking you would be the only newbie, as you wouldn't.
Additional cost of event
If this is your first event with us, it's free.
If you are a regular without annual membership its £5 per event
If you have paid £10 annual membership, then you do not need to pay anything.

This is an opportunity to walk around a garden centre that has both indoor and outdoor areas whilst meeting new or existing group participants and make friends. If the group fancy we can have a chat over a hot cup of something after we have a look around.
There may be some simple and fun ice breaker questions if participants fancy. I am just looking for reasons to get out and meet new people so if you are free, it would be great to meetup.

Join in for a walk around St Albans and take in some of the sites such as Saint Albans Cathedral, an impressive Roman Mosaic and the lake in Verulamium Park. I will not be entering the Cathedral.
The walk will last 80-90 minutes and if the group decides we can visit a local pub or coffee shop for a drink afterwards.
Park in Westminster Lodge Sports Centre for 2hrs free parking.
IMPORTANT: To get free 2hrs parking, drive to the main entrance of the sports centre, go inside the centre and register your vehicle by entering your car registration (its takes 30secs) at one of the parking meters inside the main reception next to the vending machine. Its on the right-hand side as you walk through the main entrance.
Then drive to the far most car park where the tennis courts are, its a 1 min drive from the main entrance of the sports club.

It gets dark early, its cold and wet most of the time, yes, welcome to Winter...
So why not come out and test your general knowledge in a quiz night at the Red Lion, Hatfield? There are 5 rounds, and it takes up to 2hrs.
It costs £2 per person, payable to the venue on the night, and there is free parking too.
Half of the entry money goes to the winners and the other half is donated to the Hatfield Foodbank.
Each team can have up to 6 players.
RSVP by Thurs 28th Jan 7pm or sooner so we can secure a table.
Please note, I am not a hardcore quiz master, I will be happy if I can answer a handful of questions, its just a reason to get together and have some fun.
