What we’re about
The Heart of Long Island Chorus is a small chorus with a big heart. A chapter of Sweet Adeline's International since 1960, our mission is to spread joy and love through beautiful music.
We're a diverse group of women, each with their own individual story and unique musical background.
The opportunity to learn new music and techniques comes with each rehearsal, and with each performance we share joy and harmony with our audiences.
We are kind, caring, artistic, passionate, dedicated, humorous and playfully sarcastic. We are teachers, counselors, artists, scientists, nurses, writers, and inventors. We are veterans, cancer survivors, mothers, grandmothers, wives, and daughters, but mostly we are sisters in song.
Standing side by side, united in harmony, our common bond is our passion for singing.
