Keeping it simple & local - we help create opportunities for 50-plussers to try new things, discover new places, and make a new friend -or- two within the Hendersonville area.
Beyond the 50-year mark is no small thing and with that, life can bring many unexpected challenges! Many of us still find ourselves working full-time, having adult children move back home to save costs and cramp our style, saying good-bye to old friends as they retire and move away, and dealing with the sadness that comes from the inevitable loss of a parent or family member is par for the course.
If you are a native to Henderson County or new to the area, we hope you join us as we continue to navigate the challenges, partake in 50+ adventuring while sharing our stories, lifting each others spirits, and engaging our curiosity.

A hidden gem you may have never heard of...
Hope United in East Flat Rock provides weekly meals to those in need. They receive donations and support from their congregation as well as members of the Hendersonville community, and the Manna Food Bank.
They also partner with the B.E.A.R. Closet (Baby Equipment and Resource Closet) and are always in need of donations to help support newborns and young families in need.
All are welcome at The Welcome Table each week on Tuesday from 4:30-6:00PM. The B.E.A.R. Closet is also open every Tuesday from 4:30-6:00PM.

This time of year often brings with it cooler evenings, sweater-weather, and many local breweries preparing and releasing their seasonal brews.
Booda's Brewing Co.'s Oktoberfest beer is now on tap! Join us at this small family-owned micro brewery with 24 taps, hard ciders, and wine. They also have a kitchen and full menu with plenty of indoor & outdoor seating.
There is additional (FREE) parking on Main Street in front of the Visitor Center & Wells Fargo Bank, a short walking distance to the brewery.
Bring a friend and join us for a burger and a pint or two!!

Visit us at one of the reserved tables between 4 - 6pm to receive a ticket for a special give-away drawing that helps support local non-profits.
Stay and mingle, play some trivia, share your artistic talents at the mic, or venture downtown to hear some authentic "Soul/Rock" music.
