Welcome to Hike Around Skåne!
Join us on our hiking adventures in Skåne, where we explore nature and make new friends. I try to organize a hike every month, any suggestions are always welcome! Make sure to have your notifications turned for this group so you don't miss any new hike announcements.
We usually meet at the train station in Malmö or Lund and take public transport to the start of the hike. Most of our hikes are around 15 to 25 kilometers and we take multiple breaks, to have lunch, check out interesting spots, and if you're lucky we might even have a fika break if someone brought baked goods.
Once we're back in the city, we grab dinner together at a restaurant for those who want to join. Events are free, but you'll need to get your own public transport ticket and bring your own packed lunch.

Hey everyone! 👋
For this hike, we're leaving Skåne for Blekinge to explore a beautiful trail I hiked earlier this year in the snow. While we probably won't encounter snow at this time of year, there will be plenty of forests and some interesting history along the way.
We'll take an early Öresundståg to Blekinge, so we can begin our 20 kilometer hike from Ronneby resecentrum to Bräkne Hoby station at 10:00, giving us plenty of time to complete the hike at a comfortable pace with breaks for rest and lunch.
If you're interested, I've included a GPX file of the route I made.
The hike should take around 6-7 hours, including breaks for rest and lunch. Please bring a packed lunch, snacks, and plenty of water.
Meeting point and schedule:
We'll meet on the Öresundståg train heading towards Blekinge, and we'll be sitting in the front of the train. I'll board at Malmö C and be there a few minutes before departure. I recommend buying the 24h group ticket together at the platform so you can save some money.Öresundståg 1020 to Karlskrona

For those coming by car: This is not a circular hike, so if you're driving, I recommend parking at either Bräkne Hoby or Ronneby resecentrum and take the train.
