What we’re about
Hello fellow metro-Atlantans! This group is for those who want to get out and enjoy nature, some always good for you exercise, and meeting new people & making new friends. This is a no pressure group, aiming to organize weekend hikes to various locations around the metro area. Must be dog friendly, LGBTQ-friendly, and ready to go for a hike! We welcome all who want to join. We only ask that these simple rules are followed.
1. Respect Boundaries.
2. Respect Pronouns.
3. Respect Others Pets- if you bring your dog and they become aggressive towards other dogs, please be respectful of the group and walk away from the triggering dogs. We won't ask you to leave unless you don't control your dogs behavior and actions.
4. Respect Others Beliefs- the preference is no political or religious talk, but seeing as we are all adults, if there is a disagreement, the rule is agree to disagree and change the subject. Lets make this a fun walk, not an uncomfortable debate.
