Hike The Delaware Water Gap!

This is a cross-post with Pocono Outdoor Adventures meetup group. I LOVE hiking with Ilene (aka Captain Jane) - though due to a prior appointment, I might only be able to meet up at the Knob for dinner (hiking a short "lollipop" from the large 209 parking lot with trail access up to the Knob. Link to parking lot location *I* will be using - not the group hike - is at the bottom of this description).

The full hike begins at Raymondskill Falls:

Cliff Trail to Milford Knob

Via Ilene: This is an out and back hike that leads to some amazing over-views of our river within the Delaware Water Gap. As we progress towards the Milford Knob during the evening hours we just might see some of the city lights come on within the area before we return and head back. I am expecting this hike to be an estimated total of about 6.5 Miles. We will be following the Cliff Trail route on Alltrails.com: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/pennsylvania/cliff-trail

You might want to have an early dinner or bring a meal with you as we sit at the knob and see if sundown is as lovely as can be. (Sunset is expected to be around 7:50 pm). Afterwards we can head back.... yes the plan is to head back during the night.... with the expected time of return very possibly around 9:30 pm.

Some of the items you will want to bring:

• Flash lights or headlamps.
• Your dinner or snacks
• Water

This is not a beginner hike. You should be aware of your physical limitations. As with all meetup events your participation is purely voluntary. You are not obligated to participate in any portion of the event. You are responsible for your own safety and well-being at all times.
