What we’re about
Hi All!
Hiking for Brews is just like it sounds, we hike and then check out a local brewery afterward. This group is for all ages- we have had hikers range from 22-70!
We typically have hikes biweekly on the weekends, and are central to the greater Baltimore area, occasionally throwing hikes in as far south as Calvert County and as West as Northern VA. Attendance ranges from 20-60 people. The hikes are easy-moderate, under 15 miles but usually ranging around 3-7.
We are an easygoing group who just want to get out, get some exercise, meet new people and grab some beer. If that sounds like you, please join us! Generally dogs are welcome, but some breweries are not dog friendly so we will designate which on the event posting itself.
Guidelines:
- Don't be an asshole.
- Read the event description in full. Most questions can be answered there.
- Update your going/not going status within 24 hours of the hike if you've changed your mind.
- Determine your own physical capabilities. We include as much information about the hike in the description including the AllTrails link. Review the AllTrails link provided and make your determination on whether to participate. We highly recommend if you are getting back into hiking to choose one of our shorter, easy hikes to gauge your abilities before jumping into the more rigorous ones.
