Hudson Valley French Meetup

The venue: Includes a range of pub food, beers, wine, and cocktails. Here's the food menu and drink menu.

Parking: Paid parking ends at 6 p.m. There are two lots on Plattekill Ave near the restaurant; one just behind it and another down a bit by village hall/department of public works. For street parking, Plattekill Ave, Main St, Route 32N (North Chestnut Street) or Church Street are good places to look.

RSVP: Even if you're a regular, please RSVP here and adjust your RSVP if you can't attend. This way we know how many to expect and can arrange accordingly with the venue.

Please join us Wednesday, November 6 at the 1915 Wine Cellar. Here's the menu. There's on-street parking, as well as a lot across the street and another further down Cannon (away from Market Street). Fees either don't apply or aren't enforced after 5 p.m.

For anyone new to the group: These meetups consist of informal conversation, mostly in French, occasionally English when we get stuck. All levels are welcome. Just bring whatever French you have!

You can talk about whatever you would like. If you'd like to practice some conversational topics, consider these common topics:
-How you first learned French
-Why you'd like to improve
-Where you're from and where you live
-What you do for a living
-A recent vacation or any time you visited a French-speaking country
-Family and pets
