I’d Be Game For That!

Join for a casual euchre night! Arrive by 6:15 and play starts at 6:30 PM. No partner needed, $5 Buy in and split for 1st/2nd/3rd is 50%/30%/20%.

It's at a bar, but there is no drink minimum or pressure to drink. There is parking behind Wiedemann's off of McClelland Ave or across the street in the 5/3rd Bank/City Office lot.

House Rules:
1. Round Robin (no set teams).
2. Each game is 8 hands.
3. Each person deals twice.
4. No steal the deal.
5. Stick the dealer.
6. Cut must be offered to right of dealer.
7. No farmers hand.
8. A euchre on a regular call is 2 points.
9. A euchre on a loner call is 4 points.
10. First misdeal is redealt by the same person (if it can’t be easily fixed).
11. Second misdeal is a point to the other team and pass the deal.
12. A renege is 2 points to the other team and a new deal (4 pts on loaner).

Back in the dim and ancient past (1979) Star Trek the Motion Picture hit the theaters and millions of Star Trek fans rejoiced. Soon after that momentous event, in 1982, the FASA company published Star Trek the RPG and sci-fi gamers who were also Trekkers swooned.

During this introductory session, we will cover the basics of the game system. We'll also modify your pre-rolled character's skills and create an interesting backstory that, hopefully will "flesh out" your gaming experience.

I'll provide all the resources you need to play. No previous experience is required. You can learn as we go. All you need do is bring your enthusiasm and imagination.

This "mini campaign" introduces you to the old but elegant FASA game system and their early take on all things "Trek".

Join the crew of an exploration vessel in the TNG era as they explore a truly strange (and inherently hostile) new world.

This "mini campaign" may require two to three sessions of actual game play. We'll know for sure during the first scheduled game day.

I will provide specific player resources needed for this game as players join and select their roles.
