Meetup for Pinochle players -- Limit 20 Players .

Anyone who's played Pinochle before and wants to play again . . . Let's get together and play this fun card game.

We start exactly at 4pm. If you are hungry, please eat before 4.

For now, PLEASE DON'T COME if you have never played. There won't be anyone to teach you .
You don't have to be a great player . . . just knowing how to play is good enough.

PLEASE DO NOT SAY YOU'LL COME AND DON'T SHOW UP. IF YOU HAVE DONE THAT BEFORE, YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE DELETED FROM THE ATTENDANCE LIST. Since we are limiting ourselves to 20 players, it is rude to say you are coming and then not show up.

PANERA is great about letting us play there. Please plan to buy something to support this wonderful hosting restaurant.

IF you are new, you might sign up for the BABY DILL LESSON GIVEN AT WOODRIDGE AND WHEATON. We run this session on the First Monday of the month, alternating Wheaton and Woodridge location. The cost is ONLY $10.00 for 2 hours of instruction. It’s a great way to introduce yourself to the sport and meet great people to play with.

Feel free to bring your friends who are of the same skill level. If you do, plz add them as a guest, or let Mary know they are coming.

THE COST FOR THIS EVENT IS $7.00 PER PERSON FOR 2 HOURS OF PLAY. If you are a Beachcomber member of Pickled the cost will be $4.00 for each INDY event.

As the weather is changing, we will have more attendees. Be sure to sign up early. If you go on the wait list keep an eye on the site as people cancel. Please sign up 24 hours in advance. We need to arrange for the number of courts needed.

Take an easy 2 or 4 mile walk at Herrick Lake Forest Preserve .

Use the East lot off Butterfield Road. Meet at 3:30 at the flagpole by the boathouse. East side of the Butterfield Rd. parking lot.

At the first intersection on the trail, return to the parking lot on a different path (for a total distance of two miles) or continue on an additional two mile loop. Flat limestone trails. Leisurely pace (2.5 mph or so). Leashed dogs welcome. Cancelled if it's raining. Get a map of the trails (http://www.dupageforest.org/Herrick_Lake_Map.aspx)
