What we’re about
This group is dedicated to friendly mature singles who want to meet quality people right here in the neighborhood for friendship or romance. The Yin to the Yang so to speak.
How many times have you been at home watching TV thinking "I wish I had someone I can call right now and do something fun?" Well this is the group for you! How many of you are looking for romance or friends that have similar interests as you? Flea markets, dancing, watching sports, fitness events, game nights, seeing a play/movie, volunteering, festivals, live bands, seasonal events, dinner anyone?
How many of you are sick of going through the holidays alone ... again?
This group is a friendly bunch so if it is your first time or you have been with us since the beginning you will be greeted and seated among friends who are at the event for the same reason you are. Stop letting life go by and come on out to meet new friends, maybe more than a friend and/or just have some fun.
A CURRENT picture of yourself is required to join this group it used for no other reason but to identify you at events. Your cooperation is appreciated.
We all want to be In Good Company.
Check the calendar for our next event and I hope to see you there.

See all- 4th Annual Barrington PorchfestNeeds location
Come hear some live music played from the front porches of houses! Last year this was a two block section of Barrington. Musicians ranged from solo acoustic guitar player to full band arrangements with bass, guitar, percussion and keyboards!
Please check:
https://www.barringtonporchfest.com/The final details regarding the streets and performers hasn't been identified. I will update with a specific location where we can all meet once this information is updated on the website. Nearby parking would include the Barrington Metra parking lot as well as the Jewel Grocery Store parking lot. I will also update with a restaurant option after the porchfest event. - Rob
- Concert at Cantigny... American EnglishCantigny, Wheaton, IL
It's summer concert time!
Let's go to Cantigny for the classic sounds of the Beatles!
American English is simply the best Beatles tribute band of our time. They were voted number one in sound-alike contests at Beatlefest® by thousands of Beatles fans for three consecutive years.
Admission price is $21 per car (NOT per person). Cantigny only accepts credit or debit cards. NO CASH. I recommend that you pay for the ticket in advance on the Cantigny site. What I have done in the past is park at a neighborhood store like Target and several of us go in one car to share the $21.
We'll meet at 6pm at the park to ensure good seating. Bring your lawn chairs, dinner or snack, beverage, bug spray and most of all your best dance moves.
There is a beer garden, cafe and food trucks.
The concert will be in Tank Park and you will know it by you know... all of the tanks on display. ;) You can park in either the north or south (closer to Tank Park) parking lots.
Here is the map of the place you can click on the map to see more of it.
