What we’re about
Relationship Anarchy (RA), very simply put, is asking the question; how can we deconstruct systems of power and domination by creating deep and meaningful interpersonal connections and building thriving communities all without the use of control or coercion?
We are a community of people that get together to study/have conversations about/critique concepts related to relationship anarchy.
We use a feminist/queer/non-normative lens to challenge many social norms like (but not limited to); heteronormativity, hegemonic masculinity, mononormativity (the assumption/expectation that everyone must be monogamous), amatonormativity (the assumption that romantic relationships are more important than friendships), allosexism (the assumption that people can not be happy/whole without sex), patriarchy or just all forms of coercion in general.
