If you love Fireworks like me then RSVP to celebrate the preservation of Britain's finest parliamentary democratic sovereignty on one of the most fun celebrated days in our political history with a free mesmerizing fireworks display to uplifting melodic symphonies and a red hot bonfire to keep chills at bay.

As you'd expect on a traditional cold British Bonfire night (though I swear it use to feel colder when I was a kid!), we'll sip liver damaging beverages as our eyes track with trepidation those sinister gunpowder trails igniting into beautiful gyrating flames of merriment in da sky and wonder what could of been. There will also be food and drinks to purchase.

Or, if you hate the Westminister status quo and particularly the recent installation of the George Orwellian free speech pluralism infringing incompetent duplicitous dishonest gas lighting Labour government - you can always join to commiserate the unfolding plot!

The part II PRIVATE firework display we went to last year in Islington is now taking place on the 4th so we will go to straight to the pub around 7pm for more socialising. ======ITINERARY / RENDEZVOUS POINT / DRINKS ========
We will meet outside a Central London underground station (will annouce day before) at 5pm sharp. After a 10 min wait for laggards, I will escort everyone to the nearby location to watch the fireworks display up close. After the firework display ends - due to the very big crowds people always end up getting lost and split - we will meet directly in the pub and then play it by ear.

Last year we gate crashed an art gallery party with free booze and then took a bus ride singing songs so nothing is set in stone. We love doing spontaneous and genuine fun stuff here - if you think you'd fit in for a night of adventure then RSVP now but make sure you answer the screening question - blanks, one word answers or indifference will keep you there - actually show you're interested in the event content!!

The exact meeting point in Kings Crioss for will be revealed to the confirmed RSVPs on the on the night in private comments section along with post drinks pub name and address.

Note, I wont be taking any calls or replying to phone messages during the 20 minute display - that time is for my own enjoyment. As we wont have time to buy drinks before hand, so I recommend you buy before you arrive - so that you have some alcohol to enjoy during the show as fireworks are always more enjoyable and fun when you are tipsy but not drunk; REMEMBER KIDs: FIREWORKS ARE DANGEROUS - NO DRINKING, DRUGS N LIGHTING HERE! I'll have a bottle of wine or presecco with me and may share if I have spare to go around.

For identification, I will be wearing a Starwars lanyard. Also I will send out my number to the confirmed RSVPs on the evening. Once the waiting list gets activated, preference will given to my most loyal regulars plus those that have demonstrated genuine passion for key aspects of the event - we want people that really love loud fireworks there to ensure a banger of a night.

Of course, you don't need to get up and pertform - if you genuinely love music - you're more than welcome to socialise, cheer, singalong and dance with the exuberant music loving audence as the rest of us rock the crowd!

=== If You're Singing ===
99% of us are not professional singers - we do this for pure fun & love of music but..if you've never sung live with a band on stage - ideally choose a song that not only you love but know the lyrics / musical timing to well

And you don't need vocals like Zara Larsson or Amy Winehouse - but it would be good if you can carry a tune to make it a nice experience for the talented band who are very passionate about their art! Luckily we'll have two experienced guitarists (base and electric), a drummer and two backing vocalists who will try help you out if you get lost. Note that song options will be confined to soul/blues, rock, britpop, RnB, pop, dance, country genres spanning multiple decades from contemporary to classics so there should be a song that you'll like to sing

=== Venue & Itinerary ===
This Oct we are back at a music venue where it all started with our first ever rockoake event with same A band several years ago pre covid! A lot has changed since but the vibe/energy in there is still awesome.

We will meet near the bar area but I will share my number on the eve and update in the comments section on whereabouts we are/table number.

Most of us go upfront to the stage when the first song drops. Note there will be lots of regulars plus members of the public there (about 125) so I have to cap RSVPs on here to give everyone a chance to sing.

The venue is located very centralish in Islington zone 1 next to Kings Cross /St Pancras Station and so very easy to get to. It's only about 4 mins on the tube from Central London (Oxford Circus/Leicester Square).

We'll head of for second part of the night for more dancing, singing and socialising around 11.30PM.

All I want for Christmas is?

....To be a kid again but preferably not home alone. Yep the magic of xmas wears off as you get older but do you remember when you were young and it felt like the most exciting time of the year? To me there were five novel elements - at least here in London: - 1) Taking part in the end of term school xmas play but not knowing what character you're going to play until the day of the first rehearsal, 2) putting up the xmas tree / decorations, 3) enjoying Xmas songs and watchin BBC Top of Pops on xmas day to find out the xmas number one, 4) watching Only Fools & Horses Xmas episode whilst eating over-rated turkey, and finally 5) singing xmas carols!!!

Join to re-live those exciting years at a large beautiful central London church to hear live xmas carols sung by choir along with small orchestra. There, we will be served up free mulled wine and snacks along with song sheets for those who can't remember the words to songs you want to sing along to

You don't need to be a Christian to attend (I'm an atheist) - as long as you appreciate this traditional core non-religious aspects of British/western culture - everyone is welcome - all races, all genders, all sexualities, all colours, all religions, believers and non-believers alike - Christmas is about bringing people together and nothing bridges that gap better than music.

The church will be located in central london. Address to be updated closer to the event date. This place gets very busy and so if you're late you will likely need to queue outside to enter (10 to 20 mins)
