Whether you're new to the city or a lifelong Bostonian, this is a group for anyone who wants to explore and learn more about Boston.
I grew up in Massachusetts and I moved to Boston last year. I started this group to meet other people who want to explore the city for great restaurants, shows, exhibits, tours, etc.
There are no limits.
We can be on Newbury Street for Brunch one afternoon or hit a local dive bar in the South End later that evening.
I work in the hospitality (hotel) industry and I've learned so much about the Boston restaurant scene at work. Everyone is welcome to join.
If you're new to Boston this group is a great way to meet new people and experience everything Boston has to offer.

The Dana to Petra Trek w/ bonus of Wadi Rum! A Jordan Discovery Adventure..
Boston Logan International Airport, Boston, MA, USOur Meetup group is off on another thrilling hiking adventure to exotic faraway lands! This time, we are trekking in Jordan, where breathtaking views of sandstone cliffs, narrow gorges, and vast plains unfold against the backdrop of the Great Rift Valley.
The Dana to Petra trek, also known as the Dana Wadi Trail, is one of Jordan's most renowned hiking experiences. It takes us through a diverse range of landscapes, offering a mix of natural beauty, historical significance, and cultural encounters.
The trek begins from Dana village, a charming and ancient small town, known for its stone houses and traditional architecture. It is located in Jordan's largest nature reserve - Dana, which also gives the name of the trek. The Dana Trail spans a variety of ecosystems, from lush woodlands to arid desert.
In addition to the amazing hiking experience, our Meetup trip provides a unique cultural exposure. We will have the opportunity to interact with local Bedouin communities and even stay in a Bedouin camp, experiencing their hospitality, traditional food, and way of life.
The trek culminates in the ancient city of Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Entering Petra from the "backdoor" via the Monastery (Ad Deir) is a unique experience, offering a less crowded approach to this iconic archaeological site.
The actual trek from Dana to Petra covers approximately 50 miles and it will take us 6 days. The trek is considered moderately challenging, with some sections requiring good physical fitness due to rugged terrain and long distances.
The whole trip, however, is 12 days as we are spending some time sightseeing and visiting some of the amazing tourist spots of Jordan. In addition to Petra we will see Amman, Madaba, Mt Nebo, Dead Sea and Aqaba at the Red Sea.
Limited size to 24 attendees total. This trip will fill up extremely quickly.

OnlineJoin us for some chill online games on Ludio! We run the best game nights ever :D Ludio (https://ludio.gg) is a videoconferencing platform with games built directly into it.
We play all sorts of card games, word games, drawing games, bluffing games, trivia games, party games, and more - all of them are easy to learn, quick to play, and very social. We have a team of experienced hosts who will teach you all the games - and keep the event fun and safe!
There is no need to learn any of the games we play beforehand, but if you're curious, you can find the full list of games and tutorials on https://try.ludio.gg. In the past we've played a lot of Pitfall, Piranha, Fishbowl, and Caption Contraption.
We advertise this event in multiple groups and many of our regulars don’t RSVP anymore. RSVPs are not indicative of how many people will show up - we get a consistent turnout of 10+ people.

(Multiple Meetup groups are co-organizing so the RSVP's shown are just a very small portion attending. We'll have at least 20 registered.)Our last online Bingo Night Party was such a BIG hit, we're doing it again! Do you like to play BINGO or want to just do something different?! Then you will LOVE this event! Here is your opportunity to have some fun playing our Live "Bingo" game. You will also get to socialize and make other friends from the comfort of your home.
Prizes included Amazon gift cards, free future events and more! This completely online event will be LIVE and you will be able to see and hear the other participants while playing. You will either need to print or draw out your bingo cards. We will email you with how to get it after registering.
You can have more than 1 person on your team as long as they're from your house and use same device. Friends/family around the country can also play. They would just need to also register for a ticket.
This event will be held on Zoom which you would access through your computer/webcam, or via your phone/tablet. On day of the event, you will get a secured Zoom link and link to print out Bingo cards.

OnlineJoin us for some Team Trivia on Ludio! We run the best Trivia nights ever :D Ludio (https://ludio.gg) is a videoconferencing platform with games built directly into it.
Our Team Trivia features 5 categories - the players who show up will veto 2 of them, leaving 3 categories for the game. Teams get shuffled after each category so that you get to play with as many people as possible, and a winner (or multiple winners) are crowned after each round. The game takes about 45-60 minutes; after the Trivia is over, we keep playing other lighthearted games with whoever sticks around.
If you’re looking for a more traditional Bar Trivia where you come with a team/stick to the same team for the whole game, we do those once a month for our regulars. Join our Discord (https://discord.gg/baPBbgQgBH) and ask about Bar Trivia to learn more!
