Welcome!
The word Havurah is the Hebrew word for fellowship or friendship. A Havurah is a special way to become acquainted and connected with other members in the community. We recognize the value of belonging to a community, and we want to create events that will bring members together for social and cultural development. We are collaborating with the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center in La Jolla, some of the local synagogues, and other venues to host our events.
The Havurah is a warm environment open to members (married or single), 55+ to meet new people and make new friends. We're an active, fun group of people who want to create a space for positive community connections and support.
