We'll camp out at the Cross Trail Hostel over looking the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers. Cross Trails Hostel features a campground, a woman shared dorm room, a men shared dorm room and private rooms. We will visit / tour the Two Twisted Post Winery. Free to visit. $35 to tour with wine tasting. Enjoy a movie night with fresh buttery popcorn. We will share a pot luck home style meal. Play table game and fellowship with one another. Amenities include free parking, breakfast, bicycle rental and wifi. Other amenities include full size kitchen, laundry room, plenty of bathrooms and showers, screen house, large outdoor porch, grills, and an outdoor brick pizza oven. Location not specified yetCome join us for our last event of the year! We'll stay in Raymond (Ray) Fadner cabin. He built this cabin to use as his summer home while he served two term as president of PATC - Potomac Appalachian Trail Club. The cabin has a scenic view which overlooks some of the PATC connection trails. It has been said that during some seasons on a clear day you can see Gettysburg from the front porch. The cabin sleeps six. It features a full kitchen, dining room, living room with a wood stove, two double bunks and a full size bed, baseboard heat and bathroom. There is a hiking trail located in the back of the cabin. This maybe a connecting trail about 1.2 mile that leads to the Appalachian Trail. Other attraction include Michaux State Forester and Caledonia State Park. Biglerville is the closest town. It is about 10 miles west. So let's close out the year with Friends, Food, Fun and Forever Memories!

Join us for the first outdoor camping event of the year! We will take in the picturesque view of the park. There are several hiking trails. There is a lake that offers swimming, fishing and paddling. There is a fee to rent boats. $10 fee for one hour or $40 for whole day. You may bring your own boat. Cabins are available. There is no cell phone service. There is an emergency phone and internet available at the Lake House, as well as a pay phone across from the lake. After a day of adventure we'll have our camp famous family style diner, games and wise folk tales lol. Don't miss the opportunity to be a part of this great family group!

410 820 1668 April 24-26, 2026Let meet at this beautiful park that has so much to offer. There is an Arboretum located in the park. It has a lake that supports fishing, boating, biking and equestrian trails. There is a $15 fee to rent a boat. You are welcome to bring your own boat. Seasonal activities and special events are hosted on weekends. The park also has cabins. There are activities nearby Archery Range, Scale and Tales, Horse Back Riding and Disc Golf. After we have shared our adventures for the day let's share a meal.
