Meet kindred book lovers at the Katy Book Club! Fiction or non-fiction, ebook, paperback, audiobook or hardcover, we'll read a new book every month. Come to laugh, share stories, make new friends and hear about great books!
What are our meetings like?
We typically meet at 7:00 pm on the last Friday of the month. Location varies, but we limit it to the Katy area. We love to catch up with each other, but we're also serious book lovers. We're here to talk about the book! We usually have written discussion questions/prompts and everyone gets a chance to answer. At the end of our meeting we'll write down suggestions for future books. We try to choose books two months in advance so that everyone has time to track down the book and read at their own pace. After the meeting you'll receive an e-mail from the organizer with a link to vote for the book you'd like to read. Once all the votes are in, the organizer creates an event for that book and opens it to RSVPs. Clear as mud? Feel free to post a question in our discussion or reach out to the organizers privately.
