Empowering YOU through fitness is the Keep Moving Mama goal.
Women of all fitness levels, fitness goals and in all stages of the amazing motherhood journey will feel welcome and supported.
This meetup is the interactive component of the Keep Moving Mama fitness team. We look forward to introducing you to this welcoming team of women!
Formal workouts, road race training for runners and walkers (5k to Half Marathon), triathlon training and an Online Fit Team with on demand workouts are available at www.keepmovingmamama.com or by calling 916-690-7624.
First month is FREE! Attend workouts in person. Email keepmovingmama@gmail.com to request a log in to the Online Fit Team and enjoy Keep Moving Mama. Join officially anytime during the 30 days and you'll remain in the group.
There are two teams available to join:
- Run Walk Team - we meet 7am Saturdays in Elk Grove
- Online Fit Team - on demand workouts (pilates, yoga, strength and cardio)

Saturday mornings are the BEST!
Another morning of fitness, friendship and fun.We start right on time at 7am with a group warm up and team updates. Then we head out following the routes below, everyone at their own pace. Run, Walk, Jog, Intervals, your choice. After that, we do a 15-20 min strength or cross training workout and stretch.
Meetup Calendar
- Upcoming events, socials and philanthropy efforts are all the meetup calendar. Please RSVP
- Host an informal workout. Create an event for any fitness related activity you'd like to host to the calendar to invite members to join you. Just add "Informal" to the title. Anything casual and fun. (not a place to advertise other local fitness groups/gyms/teams, thank you for understanding)
What to bring:
- KMM star power, water and positive attitude
- Running/walking shoes, hat, pack to carry your phone and/or car key
- Strava app on your phone, or another way to track distance, pace and time
- A resistance band and/or 3-8 lb weights
- Stroops bands in light or medium resistance are tried and true. Buy in our amazon store
Strava Routes
TO BE POSTED NO LATER THAN NOON ON FRIDAYWe use an app called Strava to plan, track and record workouts. Downloading the app to your phone is optional, but very helpful.
If you choose not to use the Strava app to track your workout, be sure to have another way to track your distance, pace and time real time.
