If you are a native speaker of Korean seeking to improve your English language skills or a native speaker of English learning how to speak Korean, this group is for you.
In this language exchange, native speakers of Korean and English help each other improve their non-native language skills in a fun and relaxing setting. All skill levels in either language are welcome. Please note that although this meetup provides regular opportunities to practice your language skills, we do not offer structured language instruction in either Korean or English. Rather, our meetups focus on speaking and listening practice in the form of casual, friendly conversation. Sometimes we also exchange tips about learning resources and study strategies, but mostly we just talk. If you are looking for a little support and encouragement as you improve your language skills and would like to meet some new friends, please join us!
In addition to our language exchange, we also host events centered around KPOP music, especially BTS. If you are a member of ARMY, you are welcome here.
We also periodically get together for a meal or highlight Korean related events around the region including film festivals and more.
