Welcome!
This group was started over a decade ago by a woman as a way to get out and meet other women in our area just outside of Boston. I'm the fifth Lead Organizer. The group is about socializing, having fun, and discovering new things. Our organizers have hosted events for trivia, movies, kayaking, brunch, swaps, dinner, hiking, listening to live music and more.

Some norms...
Thank you for joining and being a part of the this group! To ensure a positive experience for all, please mind the following norms.
- Be respectful of staff at venues and your fellow attendees. Rudeness or intolerance will not be tolerated.
- Respect the host's time, efforts, and choices. She or they put a lot into arranging events.
- Show up if you sign up. The venue is expecting a certain number and there's often a waitlist.
- Three no shows/last minute cancellations (less than 24 hours from the start of an event) will automatically get you waitlisted for all upcoming events.
- Keep your RSVP updated; change it from a Yes to a No if you can't attend. You can also DM the host(s) via the Meetup app or post a comment under the Event.
- Bring cash to facilitate quick bill closing out. The host(s) will ask for separate checks, but it happens less frequently.
- Add 27% to your order to cover tip & tax.
- Read up on the venue/menu to see if it appeals to you, has additional fees (kitchen fees, admin fees, etc.) or is physically accommodating (parking, seating, dietary etc.).
