Chrysanthemum Show
Presented by the Southern California Chrysanthemum Society
Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27
10:30 am – 4 pm
A flower show that concentrates on displaying the beauty and variety of the Chrysanthemum, a flower referred to as the “Queen of the Fall”. Chrysanthemum blooms come in a myriad of shapes, sizes, and vibrant colors. Chrysanthemum blooms will be displayed as single stems, in baskets and vases.

Sunday, October 27
11:30 am – The History of the Chrysanthemum
Take a comprehensive look at the interesting 2,500 year history of the Chrysanthemum.

Parking will be a challenge, so try to be there early or carpool with someone.
The Garden is open at 10:30am. We will meet in the Tea Garden area of the garden. See map of the gardens posted and look for Tea Garden area.

After the show, we will walk over to 608 Dahlia – a garden to table restaurant. for lunch. Look for the separate lunch meetup.

Group ticket sales have closed. If you want to attend, you may purchase a ticket from the box office (www.thegemoc.com). We are seated in Row E. It is not a large theatre, so any seat is a good seat.

Join us for the Opening Night Gala for Cinderella at The Gem! We thought it would be festive to go on opening night which includes a pre-show celebration. Your ticket includes a pre-show catered champagne reception with the cast. The party starts at 6:30 and the show starts at 8:00. You can mix and mingle with the cast, and there will be a photographer there for pictures. People tend to dress up for the gala night, but you do not have to.

Tickets are $70 for the Gala night which includes a catered buffet-style dinner. So this will be in lieu of going to dinner beforehand at a restaurant. I do not know what is being served, but hoping to obtain the menu and if I do I will pass it along. Our price is $10 off the regular price since they are giving us a group discount.

NO REFUNDS. If you buy a ticket and can’t make it, you need to find someone to sell/give your ticket to and notify us who is coming in your place. You can post on meetup to see if someone is interested in buying your ticket.

We will hand out your ticket in front of the theatre at 6:15.

Come join us on a Christmas lights walk in Yorba Linda! The East Lake Village Christmas lights is a delightful holiday tradition that illuminates the neighborhood with a stunning display of festive lights & decorations. Each street has a different theme (like Candy Cane Lane, Christmas Tree Lane, Snowman Lane, etc.) and each house sparkles with dazzling lights, elaborate displays, & creative decorations, transforming the neighborhood into a mesmerizing spectacle of holiday cheer. The East Lake Village Christmas lights offer a charming & enchanting experience, spreading holiday cheer & creating cherished memories for all who visit!

The walk is approximately 2 miles through 8 "lanes" and takes about 1 hour to finish. Make sure you wear comfortable shoes! However, you can also drive the route if you want. We will meet on the corner of Village Center Drive and Paseo de Las Palomas. There is plenty of street parking on Paseo de Las Palomas and Vista Laguna. We will walk down Paseo de Las Palomas, then turn right on Vista Laguna and then turn right on Village Center Drive to return to the meeting spot. Please see photo for walking route. We will begin our walk promptly at 7:15pm! Afterwards we may grab some coffee/hot chocolate at nearby Mimi's Cafe.
