More than 3 miles of trails wind through woodlands, over two boardwalks, and along the banks of the Fox River. Dogs are allowed, but please keep them leashed at all times.
Preserve trails also extend from the west to the Village of Port Barrington at Center Street to join the Village's pathway system.
This preserve was once a seasonal recreational vehicle campground.
Situated along a peaceful stretch of the Fox River, the site’s natural areas include rolling topography, oak savannas and high-quality wetlands that is home to great blue herons and egrets.
