What we’re about
Hello and a warm welcome to the Lakeland Group. We are a friendly bunch of Long Distance walkers who enjoy social walks as much as challenge events (perhaps even more) and walk at a pleasant pace with walks that are long but not too crazy long!
We're part of the Long Distance Walkers Association and everyone is welcome. If you'd like to keep walking with us, we'd ask you to join the LDWA. Any questions, please message us!

Wednesday 24 September - Keswick to Aira Force 15 Miles 2500 Feet Ascent
A lovely walk out of Keswick which uses the old Coach road before heading to Dockray and Aira Force.
Save the date and more details will follow very soon. We are arranging a mini bus to take us from Aira Force to Keswick so that we can walk back without any time constraints. Predicted start time will be meet 9am at Aira Force to get walking about 9.30 from the Moot Hall in Keswick. Watch out for more details by email and on the website once the mini bus has been procured. Please email lakeland@ldwa.org.uk to secure a place on the bus.
