Greetings to all senior couples and singles 60 and over!
This group is based in the ABE and greater Lehigh Valley and nearby surrounding areas of Pennsylvania for people 60+ (couples/singles).
Most events will be in the greater ABE area, with occasional events (and short trips) out of the immediate area to provide variety and new experiences, as well as opportunities to all members.
Jay and I are both in our 60's and have been previously married/widowed/divorced ourselves.
We are seniors who are looking for other people to share enjoyable times and form meaningful friendships.
Just bear in mind that this group is meant for socialization and friendship, not dating. There are other groups for that.
Seniors who enjoy a variety of not to strenuous fun such as stand up comedy, rock n' roll music, theater, wine, travel, eating out, beach, boat rides, mountains, modern country music, musicals, dinner theater, miniature golf, walking, wineries, sightseeing, card/ board games, movies, etc.
Open minded Seniors who don't mind a little risqué humor, but not vulgarity. People who like to laugh but care about one another. Seniors who are not so much into sports or politics, but enjoying life.
As one of my favorite singers, Billy Joel, said in his song 'Angry young man' - 'I had my pointless point of view, but life went on no matter who was wrong or right'.
It's fine to have passion about things, however, this group is about being passionate about the lighter fun times and being compassionate and supportive with one another.

Life is to short to be sitting at home in front of the TV all the time (although sometimes vegging with the TV is appreciated, cause our energy isn't what it used to be, right?) 😀
Some basic necessary required rules-
1. RSVP REQUIRED.
If you are not able to make it for a legitimate reason, you must change your RSVP to 'NO' AT LEAST 24 hours before. This is for common courtesy for the host as well as the venue (and others hoping to go) since a seat is being held for you and affects the staff of the venue and other patrons. If it is a last minute emergency, we still need to be notified that you are not coming.
It is rude not to do so, and will prevent us from worrying about you as well as help us work to maintain respect with the venue for future events.
Three no shows without notice will result in your not be accepted at future events.
2. All dinners/activities are everyone pays for their own food and drinks.
3. All ticketed events are buy your own tickets at your own expense AND still requires an RSVP to the event so we know you are coming.
4. A current up close photo of yourself is required to join so you can be identified at events.
Your understanding and cooperation is appreciated and required to proactively prevent problems with all members and events.
