Creating a safe space both in-person and online for lesbian, queer and bisexual women to socialize in the San Francisco Bay Area and throughout the nation. We host free pickleball play opportunities in San Francisco, socials throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and online support for the nation and world. This meetup group is for women only. Please no men.
In order to join and retain your membership please have an identifiable photo of you (human form and sunglasses are okay). This helps us to know that you are a woman and makes it easier for fellow members to find you at the start of our events. Please make sure that your photos are respectful (no nudity, showing of body parts in a sexual way, or could be triggering or offensive to anyone in our community). If you remove your photo at any time after you have been approved for membership then your membership will be canceled. Feel free to put your profile photo up (or back up) and then re-join at the link below. Also please make sure that at least your real first name is on your Meetup profile or send me a private Meetup message explaining why you are using a different name (from what your family and friends call you) before joining our Meetup group. No Show Policy
What is a "no show"? Someone who RSVPs yes, doesn't attend the event and does not contact the event organizer in advance of the event to let them know that they will not attend. For in-person events a member may be removed after one "no show" depending on the event. For online meetings a member may be removed after two "no shows" depending on the event.
Please click on the Meetup pages of this website periodically so the Meetup algorithm can update your status to "active". After one year of inactivity we may cancel your membership however feel free to rejoin at https://www.meetup.com/lesbian-queer-and-bisexual-women-socials-and-support/ if you are still interested in being in our Meetup community.
When participating in any event that is hosted by this Meetup group you acknowledge that you assume all risks and liabilities involved with and participating in the activity/event. You will hold harmless and will not take any legal action against the host or organizer of the event or group when participating in any events or activities.
