What we’re about
This group is for Minnesota lesbians, who are age 50 and up. We've been active for 7 years with about two socials planned by volunteer members each month. Check out the past events tab to see the variety of our activities. All new attendees are warmly welcomed at their first social event. Please provide event leaders the courtesy of removing your RSVP online if you aren't able to attend something you signed up for. Membership includes a 3 week free trial period and is then $5.00 per year (the cost of our web page). If you do not go online to your profile page and pay dues after the trial period ends you will be dropped from membership. (Note: the meetup system does not send you a dues reminder.)
All activities have a minimum of 5 members in order to run. The RSVP totals will be checked the day before each event and a cancellation notice will be sent out if there are less than 5 signed up. Therefore, don't be shy about being the 1st or 2nd to RSVP. You won't be the only one there. Early signups build interest in the activity. If a limited event fills up, you may sign up on the waiting list. Members are welcome to upload photos after attending an event as long as the privacy of other members is respected and faces are not showing.
For questions about new memberships, please click on the organizers message tab and message Betty, our admissions volunteer.

See all- Women‘s Adventure Film Tour at the Riverview TheaterRiverview Theater, Minneapolis, MN
The 2025 edition of the Woman's Adventure Film Tour is coming to town for one night only on March 19th, 2025.
Program lasts 120 minutes. The Riverview Theater is such a delightful neighborhood movie house, and the popcorn is fresh, hot and with real butter.
Film description from the Riverview Theater website:
"The Women's Adventure Film Tour is a celebration of the inspiring women around us who are doing extraordinary things in the name of adventure. Every year, our selection of unique films is carefully chosen to show awesome women achieving their personally adventurous goals. Being adventurous doesn't always have to mean being the fastest, going the highest, or doing the most extreme things. Adventure for most of us is stepping outside our comfort zone and climbing our own personal Everest. The films showcase real stories about women from a variety of cultures and sports around the world."Blurb from the YouTube site:
"The Women’s Adventure Film Tour will present a thrilling selection of films that span extreme sports, personal journeys, and boundary-pushing storytelling from across the globe. This year’s program highlights the resilience and creativity of individuals navigating the challenges of both the outer world and their own inner landscapes. We are thrilled to present a program that brings together incredible stories of courage, adventure, and self-discovery. These films represent the spirit of perseverance and the power of women in the outdoors to inspire, entertain, and spark important conversations."Film starts at 7pm, let's meet inside the lobby at 6:45 pm. Regular admission prices apply: $7 regular and $5 for seniors and children.
