🌈 Lesbians of the Chesapeake Social Group Rules: Keeping It Fun & Stress-Free!

Hey everyone! This group is all about connecting, having fun, and creating a welcoming space for queer women. To keep things drama-free and enjoyable for everyone, we have a few simple ground rules for hosting events. Please reach out to Katie if you are interested in hosting!

🚫 No Political Events
We get it—we are passionate about LGBTQ+ rights and other causes. But to keep this space stress-free (and because many of us have work restrictions), please avoid hosting political events. We’re here to build community.

💰 No Handling Money Within the Group
Events can have costs, but no one in the group should directly collect or manage money. If an event requires payment (like a concert, drag show, or dinner), attendees should pay the venue or organizer directly—just no handling money within the group.

🌿 No Drug-Themed Events
We love a good party, but let’s keep it substance-free when it comes to event themes. That means no dispensary tours, “wine and weed” nights, or psychedelic-themed gatherings. Let’s make sure everyone feels comfortable and included!

🏳️‍🌈 Be Respectful
Wherever we go, we represent the group! Please be respectful to venue staff, follow their rules, and leave spaces as we found them. We want to maintain a great reputation so that businesses continue to welcome us for future events.
