What we’re about
LFDT Meetup groups have an informal relationship with LF Decentralized Trust and make up a key part of the LFDT ecosystem. Participation in a LFDT Meetup group is open to anyone--employees of a LFDT member company, LFDT contributors and developers, and people just passionate about distributed trust technology.

Waterfall is a highly scalable smart contract network for the development of various decentralized applications (DApps). The distributed protocol is based on DAG (Directed Acyclic Graph) technology, with a 2-level fast finality Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus protocol, in which millions of validators can participate.
DAG technology allows Waterfall to be highly scalable through parallel and simultaneous block production. Waterfall is LD decentralized Trust Labs project.

Hiero is the open source DLT codebase used to build the Hedera network and is one of the newest projects to join the LF Decentralized Trust community.
Join this workshop to discover how the Hiero client SDKs make building and scaling decentralized applications seamless and efficient. With support for multiple languages, including Java, JavaScript, Rust, Go, and more, Hiero ensures that developers of all backgrounds can take their first steps in the ecosystem with ease. Whether you’re new to Hiero or a seasoned developer seeking advanced insights, this session covers key functionalities and shares best practices.
Learn how to deploy and interact with smart contracts, manage digital tokens, and harness the power of the Consensus Service to bring your decentralized solutions to life. Additionally, we’ll explore how you can seamlessly integrate Hiero SDKs into enterprise applications, covering service injection, configuration, and integration testing to ensure smooth and scalable implementations.
