Hey all, our first several monthly pizza & poker events have been a lot of fun. We played poker and ate some great pizza. Let's plan to do this again about the third week of the month (exact date above). Look forward to seeing any of you would like to play.
House rules are $10 buy-in, with rebuys limited to 1 x $10 buy-in at a time (similair to tournament style). You may only buy-in again if you have less than $5 in chips. (This keeps the game fair for all, especially new players. Modified pot limit - maximum bet is limited to the chips in the pot plus what has been bet before you during the hand. Blinds are 25¢ ea.
This has been a lot of fun, with most players buying in 1-4 or more times for fun all evening. We will order pizza together, based in group consensus, with each person contributing to pizza. I provide drinks, ice, plates, some snacks, and possibly other items.

FYI, the meetup group that sponsors us teaches free poker on Saturday mornings (and sometimes Tuesday afternoons) in Orem. That group's name is Low Roller poker group. I go to that also (lots of fun) when I'm available and it doesn't conflict with my own events. It is completely free, the host (Mikey) is fun and inviting. It's a great way to learn poker at no cost.
