Hello Liberal Ladies!

I promised that I would share with you all the protest information I can find.

Well, here is the next Hands Off! event, and this one is in Fort Worth. We are focusing on local issues, particularly the conditions at the county jail and the County Commissioner's Court.

April 19, Noon - 4 pm. Usually there are speakers, sometimes at the beginning sometimes at the end. At this time I do not know if there is a march around downtown, but I hope one is planned.

Remember: Parking is free in downtown Ft Worth on Saturdays.
No need to RSVP! Just come on down anytime between noon and 4.
Dress comfortably for the weather, wear good walking shoes, bring water and snacks, and be sure your phone is fully charged.

Bring signs if you wish. The more the better.

UPDATE: Arlington is also hosting a protest at the Arlington Sub-Courthouse 700 East Abrams, Arlington TX

Our usual hostess has had a death in her family and will not be able to host our book club on April 19th.
I was able to book the room at the La Madeline on Camp Bowie. Because we will be at a larger space, I have opened the RSVP. If you can't get the RSVP to work (MeetUp is so wonky, you just never know), just send me a message. We can order food at La Madeline so no need to bring snacks.

The next protest is in Fort Worth at Burk Burnett Plaza in downtown Fort Worth. TIme is 12:00 Noon until 4 PM. It will be easy to head down Camp Bowie from downtown in time for our get together.
If you go to the protest, there is abundant free parking on weekends.

Arlington is hosting a protest on April 19 also, it will be at the Arlington Sub Courthouse. 700 East Abram Street Arlington Texas

Our March meeting was great! The book was very interesting and hilarious. Now I want to read his other book.
