What we’re about
Looking for a fun group where you can discuss your liberal political views without fear of starting a fight? This is the place for you! We are women with strong opinions, a great sense of humor, and thirsting for some female interaction that reflects our progressive values. All faiths, agnostics and atheists welcome--as long as you are liberal! Check out our recurring luncheons, our Book Club, and the many one-time-only events posted by our leadership group and members.
To help defray the Meet-up fees of $380 per year plus other de minimus expenses, we ask members to make an annual donation. The suggested minimum is $15 per year, but if you are unable to pay, please don't let that stop you from joining. Donations can be made from the home page for Liberal Ladies Who Lunch - Fort Worth.

Tarrant County Commissioner's Court Open Forum Hearings regarding redistricting of the Commissioner's Court precincts. (Scroll to the bottom for dates, time and locations of the hearings.)
Commissioner Roderick Miles, Jr. urges all Precinct One residents and Tarrant County neighbors to stay informed and engaged as the Commissioners Court considers potential precinct map changes. This is a critical moment to stand for fairness, transparency, and community input. Show up. Speak out. Shape the future of our county!'
These maps are an unnecessary expense, will trigger months if not years of legal cases and if the maps are approved, our Democratic Commissioners will find it difficult if not impossible to win an election.
The proposed maps:

Changes to these maps will prevent two precincts from having true representation of the constituents' needs. The entire purpose of this redrawing is to make it impossible for Democrats to hold any seats on this court.
Please try to attend at least one hearing, to show your commissioner that you want a NO vote on any changes to the current precincts.
We won't be able to speak as individuals at these hearings but at this point it will be the numbers that have an impact.
