EVERY MOMENT IS A NEW BEGINNING!
If you are new to Clearwater or surrounding area, a local, single or married and ready to meet new people, this group is for you! This is for all women and men from all backgrounds and ages between 50 and 80 who want to just live, love and play. It is not a dating or hook up group, it's simply a group of happy people that enjoy getting together to break away from our daily routines and to establish friendships.
We will explore various local restaurants, winery's, breweries, music venues, theaters, have potlucks, day outings, games, beaches and whatever else may come up.
#1 Focus is to have fun, enjoy and meet new friends!
We also encourage members to reach out and share ideas if you have something that you would like to do!! Suggestions for activities are welcome.
The group has a membership fee of $10 for the year. Meetup charges the organizer of the group a yearly fee to own the group and the membership fee goes through a payment processing center which also charges the organizer a fee. Fees will also be used so that we can offer door prizes at the events, buy a round of drinks, appetizers, etc...
You will pay through the meetup app. The payment goes through a processing center. On the main page you will see a box directly under the group name, that says to pay dues. You will hit that and input your card information. If you go back to the main page, you should see that the box. Please send me a message that you have paid so that I can assure it gets posted as I have been having a few issues with it.
You are given a trial period to pay your yearly dues. At the end of that period if your dues are not paid, the system will remove your from being an active member and you will not be able to RSVP to an event until your dues are paid.
RULES:
You MUST upload an actual profile picture of yourself (recognizable facial photo) so that we may recognize you at events. Your membership will not be approved until you do so.
Please be considerate of others; and if you cannot attend an event that you have RSVP'd to, you should cancel at least 24 hours ahead of time. Understand that if you sign up for an event and do not attend, this will be considered a "No Show". If you have three events that you fail to cancel and don't show, you will be removed from the group.
Misconduct at any event will result in immediate removal from the group.
No refund of dues will be given if you are removed or if you decide to remove yourself.
