This is a face-to-face social group - forget media - meet actual people!
We use this platform to notify of events and receive rsvps. Please don’t request to join if you’re not willing to come along to events.
Started in 2013 and mainly based around Cwmbran and Newport, events have included pub quizzes, ten pin bowling, escape rooms, games nights, meals out, theatre, walks, dance and cookery classes, crazy golf, Segway, zip wire, day trips (car sharing / mini bus), weekends away and holidays. Members are encouraged to suggest events.
Take a look at our upcoming events. If you see one that you'd like to come to, send me a message and I will give you more information and you can come along as a guest. Full membership can be requested after attending a few events and paying the annual non-refundable subs (currently £7.50)
We are a mixed bunch in ages and backgrounds. We may be small in number compared to some Meetup groups because inactive members are removed until they are able to participate again.
