Hi! This is a group for anyone interested in reading and talking about sci-fi or fantasy books. We have members of all ages and from diverse backgrounds. We also like to get together to play board games or have movie nights. We occasionally stretch the rules a bit and read books that aren't hardcore sci-fi or fantasy. Some of the books we've read include: The Princess Bride, The Dragonriders of Pern, The Stepford Wives, Solaris, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Metro 2033, and Leviathan. All are welcome!
Note for the new members: you don't need to read the book by the first meeting. Just come down, meet us, see what we are all about, and, I'm sure you'll have something to contribute once the discussion drifts to other topics.
