Nestled in the picturesque heart of Little Venice, the festival will showcase a vibrant selection of features, documentaries, and shorts that reflect the rich tapestry of marginalised experiences, alongside works from established independent filmmakers from the UK and beyond.

Join us for "A Day at Kew Gardens" – Group Walking Tour. A relaxing and rejuvenating escape into nature! 🌿

*This tour will start in the morning because kew gardens is huge. It will be physically demanding - please only join if you are able and at your own responsibility.*

Stroll through the beautiful pathways of Key Gardens, where you will discover blooming flowers, peaceful ponds and vibrant greenery. Along the way, we will take in the sights, enjoy fresh air and maybe even learn a bit about the plants and wildlife.

After our serene walk, we will unwind with a delicious treat to cap off the afternoon in the garden's cozy café area. Whether you're a nature lover, a garden enthusiast or simply looking for a peaceful break, this event is for you!

This event offers a wonderful opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals while discovering and exploring the beauty of our surroundings together. As we share experiences and engage in meaningful conversations, you'll have the chance to create lasting memories.

Every attendee will pay for their own ticket: £14 at the entrance (This is a Friday - 1st day off season)

Kew Gardens Highlights Route
Starting Point: Victoria Gate Entrance

• Arrival: Start at the Victoria Gate Entrance. Make sure to grab a map from the visitor center if needed.

1. The Palm House

• Description: This iconic Victorian glasshouse features a wide range of tropical plants. Take time to explore the lush interior and enjoy the beautiful architecture.

2. The Temperate House

• Description: The world’s largest Victorian glasshouse has been restored and houses a variety of temperate plants from around the globe. Don’t miss the rare species and the stunning stained glass windows.

3. The Waterlily House

• Description: Home to various species of water lilies, this serene glasshouse is perfect for photography. Take in the beauty of the vibrant colors and reflections.

4. The Treetop Walkway

• Description: Enjoy panoramic views of Kew Gardens and the surrounding area from this elevated walkway. The experience of being among the treetops is unique and allows you to see the garden from a different perspective.

5. The Rock Garden and Alpine House

• Description: Explore the beautifully designed rock garden and the adjacent Alpine House, where you can see alpine plants in a naturalistic setting.

6. Kew Palace

• Description: Visit the smallest of the royal palaces in the UK. Explore the gardens surrounding Kew Palace and learn about its history and significance.

7. The Hive

• Description: This unique installation represents a beehive and emphasizes the importance of bees to our ecosystem. You can listen to the sounds of bees and see how they interact with their environment.

8. The Botanical Art Gallery

• Description: End your visit at the gallery featuring stunning botanical art. It’s a peaceful way to conclude your tour and appreciate the art and science of plant illustration.

9. Final Walk Through the Gardens

• Description: Stroll back towards the Victoria Gate, taking your time to enjoy the gardens. Look for the Rose Garden and the surrounding areas to soak in the beauty one last time.

3pm - 4pm - Food and drink at a coffee shop or restaurant we will decide on when we are there.

• Hydration and Snacks: Bring water and some snacks, or plan a short break at one of the cafes.
• Restrooms: There are restrooms near the Palm House and the visitor center for convenience.
• Photography: Don’t forget your camera or smartphone for capturing the beautiful sights!
