Join us for a social, refreshing Saturday hike along the London South Bank on the Thames, with the London Hiking Group. This social event is a perfect opportunity to meet new friends who share a passion for nature and adventure!
🗺️ Overview:
We will walk along the South Bank from Oval Tube station, passing the famous MI5 building that features in the James Bond movies, then onto the iconic Big Ben and Palace of Westminster. Saying "Hi" to the London Eye, crossing under London's many bridges all the way past Tate Modern and Tower Bridge. We will end our walk at a venue near Tower Bridge to socialise, relax, grab some drinks, and if you like, snacks or some food.
🥾 Tech Stuff:
The walk is about 4 miles long, taking approx 2 hours.
Mainly flat terrain on pavements so no special footwear is required - this is a relaxed walk suitable for all fitness levels. Please wear comfortable footwear and layers to adapt to the changing weather. I suggest waterproofs or an umbrella depending on weather.
On this particular occasion dogs are not allowed; most of our other events tend to be dog-friendly so check them out!
