Let's party... without the hangover! This group is for those who want to meet new people/connect with others that are sober-curious, alcohol-free, or for those who just want to hang out without having the social pressure to have a cocktail. Fun, healthy and novel experiences to meet new friends and form new friendships that can grow beyond the group.
We ask that you are alcohol-free during the events (Cali sober is OK!) but you don't have to be living the sober life 24/7; just while we are out!
Outings won't revolve around discussing not drinking, but you can of course share struggles. Outings may also take place at locations where alcohol is served (mocktails anyone?!), but we ask that you do not drink alcohol at those venues.

WHO: This group is made up of all kinds of folks! Those who never liked alcohol, those who can't drink anymore for health reasons, those who only drink occasionally, those who are in recovery, those who are trying to drink less or quit, and those who just want to meet new people and are ok with not drinking for a night! Adults only, please. The best way to meet new friends is to attend regularly!
WHAT: We are the largest sober/sober curious group in LA/OC! We do all kinds of events! Beach outings, alcohol-free happy hours, skating, yoga, tourist attractions, trivia, music, museums and aquariums, bingo, movies and more!
WHERE: Most events are in Long Beach, but occasionally in surrounding areas.
WHEN: Events are for the most part weekly and have between 5 -40 attendees!
*Please note that since many of these events have a limited number of spots, those who no-show to 3 or more events will be removed from the group

45 Min Sunrise 🌅 Morning Walk 🏃♂️🏃♀️ at the Beach 🌊
Galaxy Towers, 2999 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach , CA, USLet's make friendships with fitness! 🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♂️🏃♂️This will be a walk at a good pace, but not a "speed" walk. I am shooting for about 2.5 miles in 45 minutes. This will be an in and out route so if you only want to do 30 minutes, you can just turn back around earlier. We will do get to know yous for the first 5 minutes (10 if we have a big group) and then we are off, no later than 7:05-7:10, so be sure to arrive a few minutes early. And yes , 7 AM!
We will walk on the sand by the water unless the tide has made the sand too soft, then it will be the path, but we will try to do water's edge first.
We will meet on the grass at the corner of Orizaba and Ocean.

Hot Chocolate ☕️🍫 and Swan 🦢 Boats!!
Starbucks, 11 The Paseo, Long Beach, CA, USLet's grab a yummy hot chocolate (or coffee) after work and then make like a duck (or swan) and paddle around!
Starbucks is located at the Pike. After everyone has their beverages, we will have a 5 min walk to the Lagoon for a one-hour illuminated swan boat ride in the Rainbow Lagoon. So I can reserve and guarantee boats for all, please prepay $16 (plus meetup/paypal fees). Your payment covers the boat, but not hot chocolate.

Pedal boat rentals are for a one-hour duration and are priced per-person. The large swan boat can seat up to 5 passengers. The small swan boat can seat two adults. Once we check in on the dock, the rental staff will help determine which swan best works for our party.Once we have been dispatched on our boat, you may not return to the dock to exchange persons, add persons, remove persons, or for any other reason. You may return to the dock only to disembark and end your rental. We recommend using the restroom in advance of your ride. Non-alcoholic drinks and food are permitted aboard the swan pedal boats. A small lap-sized cooler is allowed. Bring a blanket and create your own sunset or evening picnic experience!

Pitch-A-Pal: Singles Dating Night💕
Roxanne's, 1115 E Wardlow Rd, Long Beach, CA, USForget speed dating. This is matchmaking with a twist. At Pitch-a-Pal, you’re either pitching or being pitched to an audience of fellow singles. No spectators here. If you’re pitching, you’ll step up for a quick two-minute intro to tell everyone why your single friend is awesome. If you’re single, sit back and let your friend (or your hosts) brag about you while you enjoy the spotlight. Don’t have a friend to pitch you? No problem. David and Kimberly will handle your intro and make sure you’re part of the fun. This is a co-hosted event with my friend David's group Living LA & OC. - Participation only: You must be pitching or being pitched to attend, no spectators.
