What is Assisted Living Facility?
Facilities that provide both housing and personal care
- Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE) providing non-medical for seniors ages 60 and over.
- For individuals who are unable to live by themselves, but do not need 24- hour nursing care within a higher level of care facility.
- RCFE’s are equipped with trained staff who provide personal care assistance and medication management.
What is Residential Treatment Center?
Facilities that provide addiction treatment and recovery services
- Residential Treatment Facilities also known as Residential Detox/ Drug Rehabilitation Centers serve adult populations.
- Substance abuse treatment and recovery offering treatment process through inpatient detox treatment, therapeutic intensive treatment, and aftercare.
- These types of facilities are equipped with professionally trained staff who provide 24/7 treatment to those seeking to get past their withdrawal symptoms and treat their addiction.
WHAT IS TRANSITIONAL HOUSING PROGRAM?
THP supports youth exiting the foster care system, including probation youth in a foster care placement, by providing stable housing and services such as education assistance, counseling, employment support and training, and mental health services.
