What we’re about

Come along and meet friendly outgoing people in the local area.
We will be going for drinks, food, films, comedy nights, gigs, salsa, book club, walks, festivals, SUP days out and various other activities in and around the Maidstone area.
We will also arrange days and nights out in many other parts of Kent with the occasional trip to London.
This group is ideal for Kent based professionals aged approx 30-50 years old, whether you're new to the area or find that all your friends don't go out anymore and you want to meet some new outgoing, friendly people with similar interests.
Any event suggestions are always more than welcome and anyone wishing to become part of the organiser team please feel free to discuss at a Meet Up or send a message.
We look forward to welcoming you to the group!

  • This group is not run for profit but it does incur a high subscription charge so in order to keep the group running and offer great events for the future we do ask that you contribute £12.50 annually to help keep this great social group alive.

  • New members will have the chance to attend 1 meet up for free (within 2 months of joining) before paying their £12.50.

  • Please make sure you have a clear up to date photo of your face on your profile so that we can recognise you at events and to help maintain the safety of the group.

  • Please keep your RSVPs up to date, especially for limited number events such as meals, so the host isn't looking out for you and to allow another member to attend.

  • Continual no-shows will be removed from the group.

  • Please note that this is not a dating group.

  • Please do not private message another member if you have not met in person. Obviously if relationships develop naturally in person that's great but please be mindful of your approach, we want people to feel comfortable coming to our events.

  • Any inappropriate messages towards any of our members will not be tolerated and will result in a ban from the group and will be reported to the Meet Up admin.

  • If you're nervous about attending a meet up, please remember that we have all been the there and felt the anxiety of the first meet so we do our best to welcome anyone who is new. The thought is much worse than the reality, and you will be so glad you made the decision to join. Please feel free to message the host of the event you are wanting to join to express any nerves before attending an event.

  • Be courteous and respectful to others. Have fun, make great friendships and gain an active social life again!
