What we’re about
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit hackerspace / makerspace and collaborative workspace based in Walnut/Pomona, CA.
We enjoy giving back to the community by providing a creative space and project help and guidance.
People come to our space to work on projects, explore their inner artists, make cool gadgets, and interact with a community of like-minded individuals.
We are makers, artists, DIYers, hobbyists, combat robot creators, ham radio amateurs, tech enthusiasts and...well... just normal people, doing stuff regular people do. (except MAG Cat, he has cat duties.)

Come try out your hand at welding, or just get more practice time under the torch. First-timers welcome! We'll have machines and metal set out for the common processes:
- Steel MIG
- Steel stick
Depending on interest, the following are also available:
- Steel TIG
- Aluminum TIG
This class is free! Materials and protective equipment provided. Closed-toe shoes and long spark-resistant pants (such as 100% cotton/denim jeans) required.
MagLab runs on membership and donations. Donations are greatly appreciated, but not required.

Liability Release
MAG Laboratory is an industrial shop environment. Inherent risks, dangers and hazards and such exist when using tools commonly used in electronics construction, fabrication, software design and other technology related activities. A liability release is required to participate in this event. You may sign the release as part of your RSVP or in-person: Liability Release Form
