What we’re about
Maple Code hosts in-person & online events for individuals in Canadian software scene. It is run by a group of volunteers, and we strive to kindle organic growth of our members. Our events benefit the members by creating more opportunities to share knowledge, network, and collaborate with others.
Maple Code is a place where we experiment with new event formats all the time. This is the place to start events that are hard be organized by an established organization or a corporate backed groups. Events that do not guarantee a high turnout or produce a nice press coverage are totally acceptable here. Delivering more value to the developer society. That’s all that matters.
Who We Are
Magical things happen when a group of techies get together. Novel ideas pop up, valuable connections emerge, and innovations happen. We have seen the power of software communities, and that’s why we want more people to have access to community events. To make this a reality, we started Maple Code to support aspiring event organizers deliver value to the community in the way they envision it.
What We Are Not
Maple Code is not Genie in a lamp. You need to take charge of the event if you want to start a new one. You will get the best support Maple Code can provide, but in the end, no one will organize that event for you.
