What we’re about
The Kosala Mahayana Buddhist Center provides authentic Buddhist instruction, including calming and illuminating meditation practices and coherent philosophical and spiritual teachings with lively discussions. This tradition comes out of Tibet and now has teachers and centers around the globe. The Kosala Center opened in Carrboro in 2006.
We charge $10 for classes to cover rent and expenses, but no one is turned away for lack of funds. Come enjoy our beautiful meditation space, free tea, and many books.
The group meets at 711 West Rosemary Street above Carrburrito's restaurant. Please come! Everyone is welcome!
