Join us for fun and engaging dinners at top-notch restaurants in New Jersey and NYC where great food and delightful conversations bring people together. Dinner gatherings will vary in size, with some hosting around 10 guests and others welcoming larger groups.

Whether you're looking to expand your social circle, enjoy lively discussions, or simply savor a delicious meal with like-minded individuals, our group is the perfect place to connect.

We’ll gather in a private dining room where everyone will be seated comfortably at tables of 4 or 6 - perfect for relaxed conversation and getting to know new people in an intimate, inviting setting.

Vine & Oak is known for its seasonal American menu, modern striking décor, and top-tier service. Whether you’re a foodie, a wine lover, or just someone who enjoys great company, this dinner offers a perfect blend of connection and culinary delight. You’ll be joining other fun, sociable men and women in their 50s and 60s who appreciate meaningful conversation, laughter, and shared experiences.

BACKYARD BBQ - SUMMER KICK-OFF PARTY

You’re invited to a fun, festive backyard BBQ - a great way to kick off summer, meet new people, and reconnect with familiar faces from our amazing Meetup group - all in a fun, relaxed setting!
Expect plenty of delicious food, drinks flowing, and (fingers crossed!) sun shining. You won’t want to miss it!
I’ll be organizing everything, from the menu to the setup, and even surprise entertainment to make our gathering even more memorable. So… there’s nothing to bring except yourself (and maybe your favorite
liquor if you want a cocktail!).

Cost: $55 per person

**To secure your spot, please send your payment ASAP via Zelle or Venmo to 908-451-2580 or lisaalonge@msn.com (include your name and “BBQ” in the payment memo). Message me if you prefer to send a check. Only paid guests will be confirmed on the RSVP list.

Attendance is limited to about 60 guests, and interest is high. The final date to sign up is May 15 — but we will likely reach capacity before then. I will move people quickly from waitlist to RSVP.

Food: A generous buffet will include variety of favorites and an authentic southern-style BBQ dish from a local BBQ pit master featured on The Cooking Channel. There will also be non-meat options. If you’re vegetarian or gluten-free, please message me privately so I can plan accordingly.

Drinks: There will be a variety of beer, wine, and soft drinks. If you’d like a mixed drink, feel free to bring your favorite liquor - we’ll have mixers ready!

Cancellation: If something unforeseen comes up and you can’t attend, the last date for a refund is June 9. After that, refunds are not available — but you’re welcome to find someone to take your place and simply notify me of their name. Since there are many party expenses in advance, I won’t be able to issue refunds after June 9.

Weather Note: This is an outdoor event, and the rain date is Sunday, June 22. If you know in advance that you can only attend Saturday, please understand that no refund will be issued if the event is moved to the rain date. You’re welcome to give or sell your spot to someone else and let me know their name. I’ll monitor the forecast and make the final call by June 17. If both dates are rained out, and you cannot attend the new date, a full refund will be provided.
