What we’re about

This is a group for all Experienced motorcycle riders that live up in the foothills, mountains and areas of the Divide, that sometimes would like to join a group ride of other motorcycle enthusiasts without having to ride down into the valley an hour or more just to turn around and come right back up to the great mountain motorcycle roads we all love to ride.
We mostly do single day rides that last from 3 to 6 hours, 150 to 200+ miles, and usually grab lunch along the way that consists of stopping for sandwiches to go and then take them to a nice scenic place like one of the lakes or rivers edge or campgrounds to eat, or stop in one of the mountain cafe's or good eats places that gets food out to us in a timely manner. And you are always welcome to bring lunch from home if you prefer. At times we do a longer day ride out to the coast or the Napa Valley and alike areas and back, but all rides are described in each post so you will know what to expect. Our ride pace is at a safe and sane speed that gives us the best odds of surviving, Not to fast but not to slow either. My Gal rides her own machine and we have several other female riders that ride with us, so couples that ride together or two-up on a single bike are more than welcome. We try and ride the paved back roads as much as possible to avoid traffic, but at times when we have some highway or freeway miles, So you and your machine must be capable and able to ride at those speeds (55 to 75 mph).
I have been leading group rides most all my life and now being an older biker, I like to continue to share all the kool and Groovy back mountain roads and scenic spots we have discovered over all these years with others that might enjoy the same.
I am a life long Harley Davidson and chopper builder and rider, but I do Not care what brand or type of motorcycle you ride. But I do insist for the safety of the entire group, that you have many years and many Many miles of riding experience. This is Not the group for you to learn how to ride your motorcycle or improve your riding or group riding skills. And if you live down in the valley Or are a member of one of our other motorcycle groups and would from time to time like to join us on our rides that start up here on the mountain, we would love to have you along as well. Rides will meet and start from Placerville, Cameron Park, Lotus, Coloma, Cool, Auburn, and other alike areas of the Divide.
Thank you, and we look forward to meeting and riding with all you great folks as we start this new venture.

Safe travels and good roads to us all,
Michael Paul. ✌🏻
