More about South Metro Social Club - $15 annual membership fee
You must live or work in the South Metro area (think Burnsville and south), across a bridge, have a profile picture of yourself, and answer a couple of questions.
My husband and I wanted to be more active, so we started this South Metro Social Club. This is a social group for the South Metro…meaning across the river.
This group will focus on fun through different activities for all adult age groups. Happy hours, walks, plays, watching the game, travel, book club and more. I am looking for other hosts to add activities as well. Let’s up our game and try something new.
As of January 1st, 2025, an annual membership fee of $15 is charged. Of that $15, $13.38 goes to our group, and the remaining $1.62 goes to meetup fees when paying via the Stripe app or charge card listed in your account settings. If you pay via cash or postal check, the $15 goes towards our group.
If you are not able to pay online via the Stripe payment via Meetup, then you can send me a check. You can send a $15 check payable to King and Companies, Inc. address is: King and Companies, Sandra Schlaefer, 150 E Travelers Trail, Suite C, Burnsville, Mn 55337. Please message me that you did send the check, so I can be on the look out for it.
Reasons for the fee: Organizer dues from Meet-up of $357.98 annually, desktop and ground flags to create visibility to members at events, time in putting meetings together, making reservations, and event and membership Q&A.
### Free trial periods
- You will have a free trial and may select to pay the dues before your trial is completed. You will not be charged via stripe until after the trial period ends though.
