You must live or work in the South Metro area (think Burnsville and south), across a bridge, have a profile picture of yourself, and answer a couple of questions.
We are now charging $15 per year for dues. Our first four years we didn’t charge dues. Why the change?
- Meetup charges me $357.98 annually
- Flags: desktop and ground to help organizers provide visibility to members.

## How members pay their dues
Here’s what happens after you turn on member dues.
### Free trial periods
- If you’re turning on member dues for the first time, all of your existing members will be placed on the trial period for 14 days.
- Trial periods for existing members cannot be changed. If you change your trial period, the change will only affect new members.
- Members are sent reminders to pay seven days and one day before their trial expires.
- Members cannot pay dues before their trial ends.

My husband and I wanted to be more active, so we started this South Metro Social Club. This is a social group for the South Metro…meaning across the river.
This group will focus on fun through different activities for all adult age groups. Happy hours, walks, plays, watching the game, travel, book club and more. I am looking for other hosts to add activities as well. Let’s up our game and try something new.
