What we’re about
Are you a book lover, writer, or creative looking for a space to connect with like-minded people? Queer Lit Circle is a hybrid book club and writers’ collective that celebrates LGBTQ+, Black, immigrant, and multicultural voices in literature and art.
You should join if:
✅ You love thought-provoking books by diverse authors.
✅ You want a supportive space to explore writing, whether you're a poet, storyteller, essayist, or just getting started.
✅ You’re looking for a community of creatives who share your love for literature, self-expression, and storytelling.
✅ You’re interested in reading discussions, writing prompts, feedback sessions, and creative inspiration.
What you can look forward to:
🔹 Monthly Book Discussions – We read books that explore identity, culture, and creativity. Discussions will be open, thoughtful, and fun!
🔹 Creative Writing Sessions – Each month, we’ll have a writing prompt inspired by our book or theme. Members can share their work and get constructive feedback.
🔹 Hybrid Format – Join us in person (local café or library) or virtually via Zoom. Our online Discord community keeps the discussion going between meetings.
We accept:
Anyone who enjoys literature, storytelling, and creative expression! Whether you're an avid reader, aspiring writer, poet, or just looking for a space to connect and create, this group is for you. No pressure, no pretentiousness—just a welcoming space to explore books, writing, and ideas.
