What we’re about
This group is ideal for those who want to explore together, in a relaxed setting, some fascinating, serious (or sometimes not so serious) issues - around topics such as:
human relationships;
the quality of our civic life;
personal wellbeing, having fun, and life balance;
the future of 'civilisation';
arts and culture;
social justice and human rights - a very broad range of themes in fact!
We are (mostly) by no means experts; we are simply trying to share what we understand - valuing different viewpoints, and nurturing respect and friendship.
Now and again we may touch on 'political issues' but we have happily found ways together to avoid party politics - which is NOT what this group is about!
Get-togethers are currently monthly on Zoom, involving people local and further afield. At the same time, we are also looking to resume in-person meet ups organised in the Bury St Edmunds area of Suffolk, England - and possibly other parts of Suffolk too.
