Compassion based healing is an approach to therapy and personal growth that is rooted in love. It is based on the idea that in order to heal and recover people need to learn how to be compassionate, kind, and loving towards themselves.
Compassion-based healing is grounded in the conviction that practicing compassion is particularly beneficial for individuals struggling with self-worthiness, self-criticism, perfectionism, depression, anxiety, and trauma. It fosters emotional resilience, promotes positive mental health, and enhances overall well-being by helping individuals relate to themselves and others with greater kindness and empathy.
My intention, with profound curiosity, is to help you reconnect to your Authentic Self and rediscover the answers already within you, which may help ease your pain and suffering. The Authentic Self radiates innate wisdom, healing, and wholeness. It is our source of loving energy that heals all dis-ease in our bodies, minds, and souls. Some aspects of your Authentic Self include compassion, clarity, confidence, courage, patience, persistence, perspective, playfulness, gratitude, and most importantly, curiosity.
When we are burdened by depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, fear, doubt, or insecurity, our ability to connect to the Authentic Self may become blocked. My focus is to help remove those blocks that are hindering you from accessing your Authentic Self.

You have done the profound work of therapy. You have reconnected with aspects of your Authentic Self, worked through depression, anxiety, trauma, or other burdens that were blocking your access to your innate wisdom and wholeness. Now you find yourself asking: “What do I do with this wonderful, beautiful life that I have?”
This is where Joy Coaching begins – as a gentle, compassionate approach to help you step fully into the joy, playfulness, and ease that are natural expressions of your Authentic Self.
Drawing from the same compassionate foundation as therapy, Joy Coaching uses curiosity rather than force to explore what wants to emerge from your Authentic Self. We approach your joy with the same gentle attention we once gave to your wounds.
Through mindfulness and present-moment awareness, we help you recognize when you are operating from your Authentic Self versus when protective parts have taken over. This awareness allows you to choose joy more consciously.
We don’t try to eliminate the parts of you that feel afraid of joy or success. Instead, we listen to their concerns with compassion and help them understand that it is safe to let your Authentic Self express its natural radiance.
Joy is not something you have to create from nothing – it is something you uncover by removing what’s blocking your access to it. Your Authentic Self already contains the blueprint for a life of ease and fulfillment.

This online introduction to Internal Family Systems (IFS) group will explore the basic concepts of IFS for 12 sessions. It is appropriate for therapists, clients, spouses, partners, and any adult wanting to learn more about IFS. IMPORTANT NOTICE: This group is designed solely for your personal growth. This group will run on Zoom for 12 sessions on Friday/Saturday mornings Starting September 12, 2025. Sliding fee is $360 - $480. You may join the live Zoom meetings or receive a recording of the sessions.
